Jeanne Stahlheber
Chief Executive Officer
Jeanne Stahlheber serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Illinois (BBBS), one of the largest mentoring programs in the state. She has held this position since June 1992, and provides leadership to a staff of 19 professionals. As the chief administrator of this youth-serving organization, Jeanne has led BBBS through strategic growth and has expanded the reach of BBBS to 7 counties in Central Illinois, currently serving over 900 children. Prior to joining Big Brothers Big Sisters, Jeanne was the Program Director for the Decatur YWCA. Corey Burrows
Chief Operating Officer
Corey grew up in Bethany, IL, and attended Millikin University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in History Education. After college he spent two years with the AmeriCorps program, the second at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Illinois, where he currently serves as the Chief Program Officer. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Teri, and two sons, Grant and Will, as well as traveling, playing sports, hiking and fishing. [email protected]
Jeff Parmenter
Chief Development Officer
Jeff is the Chief Fund Development Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters Central Illinois. He has been with the organization since July 2017 and has worked diligently leading our fund development team. He graduated from Columbia College in 1982 with a BA in Business Management. In 1997, he was honored as a “40 leaders under 40”. Then in 2008 he was honored as the first “Hometown Hero” and is currently the Vice President of the BBBS Illinois State Association. In his free time Jeff enjoys spending time on his boat and cooking. He also bleeds green and gold every Sunday when his Green Bay Packers take the field. [email protected]
Tonya Larry
Community Partner Manager
Community Partnership Manager Tonya grew up in Decatur, IL. and graduated from Lakeview High School. Before joining Big Brothers Big Sisters Tonya worked at Pla-Mor Lanes for 27 years where she got involved with Bowl for Kids’ Sake. Heather grew up in Clinton, IL and Bloomington, IL. She attended Eastern Illinois University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. After her family fostered and adopted her youngest sister, she became inspired to make a positive impact on the youth in her community through nonprofit work. In her spare time, Heather loves to read, encourage others, spend time with her friends and family, and travel to new places. [email protected]

Brie grew up in Mexico, Missouri. She received a master's degree in psychology from the University of Central Missouri. Brie relocated to Illinois in 2011 after meeting her husband. She joined Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2014. Currently, she processes background checks and runs reports for data collection. Brie has a daughter, Ivy, and a Maltese named Piper. In her spare time, Brie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling back to Missouri, taking WERQ fitness classes, organizing and decorating. Contact Brei at [email protected]

Elaine is originally from Sterling, IL. She attended the University of Illinois where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology. After graduation, Elaine spent 10 years working with children as a preschool teacher, both in Champaign, IL and Nashville, TN. Elaine joined Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2019. She loves making a difference in children's lives and tries to create a lasting connection with each family and volunteer. She loves cooking, reading, painting, and being outdoors! LeAnn Winkler
Case Manager
LeAnn is a Central Illinois native and a graduate from Illinois State University where she received her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice Sciences. Her journey with Big Brothers Big Sisters started in 2011 when she worked as a case manager in the Bloomington office. As she relocated to Helena, Montana and then Olympia, Washington she continued to work with Big Brothers Big Sisters in those communities as a Case Manager and Program Director. She has rejoined the BBBSCIL Staff as a Case Manager working remotely out of Boston, Massachusetts. She is excited to be back serving youth in her home community! She is a loyal Bears and Cubs fan and in her spare time she and her husband Brian enjoy concerts, 5k races, trivia nights, and exploring the East Coast with their beloved dog Siri. Tives Gardner
Case Manager
Tives (or Ty for short) grew up in Springfield, Illinois. He graduated from Southeast High School where he was an AVID scholar. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management from Millikin University. He has worked with numerous nonprofit organizations which led him to BBBS. He is the new Case Manager for Springfield as well as the Champaign region. He played basketball for Southeast High School and was recently a part of the men’s basketball coaching staff. Program Director
Brian grew up in Clinton County and graduated in 1995 from MacMurray College with a degree in Psychology. He was introduced to BBBS through an internship his junior year. After college, he spent 3 years as a caseworker before becoming Executive DIrector of BBBS of Morgan County in Jacksonville. He facilitated the merger between BBBS of Morgan and Adams County to form BBBS of West Central Illinois. During this time he served as President of the BBBS State Association. He left BBBS in 2008 and has spent the last 10 years in the insurance business. The BBBS bug never left, and now he is back to become a Defender of Potential. Brian is married with three daughters. Meet Kyli Chase (8)

Case Manager
Kyli was born and raised in Springfield. She graduated high school from Springfield Southeast High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from University of Illinois Springfield. Kyli has lots of experience working with children, and joined BBBS in hopes to help make a difference in the lives of children within our community. Kyli has 3 dogs, Clovey(Vizsla mix), Zoey(Chihuahua Shih Tzu mix) and Sarge(Boxer German Shepard mix) who she enjoys spending time with and taking on walks. Tara Hickman
Mentor2.0 Case Manager
Tara was born and raised in Springfield, IL. She received her Associate's Degree from Springfield College in Illinois, and also has a Degree in Medical Assisting from Midwest Technical Institute in Springfield. She has always had a passion for helping young people and their families and has been successful in achieving this by working previous positions as a Shelter Supervisor for women and children, LIHEAP intake caseworker, and her favorite managing TEEN REACH after school and summer programs while working as Site Manager at the Abundant Faith CC site. It was in these positions (and a few others) that she developed many positive relationships and community ties. She has seen firsthand how mentorship can change the lives of ALL people in the family dynamic just by pouring into one person! She will be carrying this experience with her into the IMentor 2.0 program. In her spare time, she loves to cook for her family, read books, do genealogy research, and travel. She has 2 adult children, 1 ALMOST adult (SHS class of 23), and currently an 8-yo granddaughter who is the light of her life and where she spends mostly ALL the rest of her free time (AND MONEY) along with bonus children from her relationship, nieces, nephews, and a host of other unofficial adoptees along the way!
