Tom & Cam'Ron

Thomas Binder, senior vice president of ADM's research division, started meeting two weeks ago with his first lunch buddy, fourth-grader Cam'Ron Taylor, and recently brought a travel checkers set for them to play with after finding out the boy was studying magnetism in class.

"Growing up, you get a lot of support from the people around you," Binder said. "Then it's time to give back."

Each already has learned some important facts about the other.

"His favorite food is coconut cream pie," said Cam'Ron, 10.

"Cam'Ron likes hamburgers, football, math and reading," Binder said. "He also told me he likes playing checkers."
